2024 Shipman National Championship

Shipman fleet get ready!

Our National Championships are all set for: 
Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of June 2024.
This year the championships will be hosted by the Royal St. George Yacht Club. Details for the event and entry will be updated shortly on the this Shipman Website - Events

2024 Wicklow Notice of Race

We are pleased to announce our annual offshore Race to Wicklow will be held on: Saturday the 25th of May 2024.

With racing cancelled one Sunday morning Shipman owner, Neil McSherry, decided to whip up a short video to showcase why the Shipman is such a great boat to sail!  The video was featured in Afloat Magazine an article titled "Old Shipman 28s Never Die, They Only Keep Sailing Away...& Then Back Again".
