Entries are now open for the 19th Label Industry Global Awards taking place at Parkway Bank Park in Rosemont, Illinois on 10 September.

Winners of the FINAT Sustainability Awards will be announced at Europe’s leading packaging sustainability event – the Sustainable Packaging Summit, on 12th November 2024 in Amsterdam. This has been announced thanks to a partnership between Summit organizer Packaging Europe and FINAT, the international association for the European label industry.

The FINAT Label Competition is a prestigious event in the label industry, and 2024 proved to be another successful year. The number of entries increased to 236 (212 in 2023), with 45 companies and 22 countries from all over the world participating, hence demonstrating the competition's global popularity. Austria once again topped the list of countries entering with 45 entries followed by Greece with 24 entries. The highest number of entries by category was led by Wines (52), Alcoholic Drinks (28) with General Applications in third place (22). The number of entries using digital as one of their main printing processes increased slightly to 112.

Label printers are encouraged to enter the FINAT Sustainability Awards competition before 30 June 2024. The FINAT Sustainability Award is the leading initiative in Europe with a focus on recognizing outstanding work to advance sustainability through labelling.

Labelexpo Global Series has announced that registration is now open for Labelexpo Americas 2024, the only dedicated event in the region for the labels and package printing industry. The show takes place between 10-12 September at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
