My sketches and illustrations for the latest issue of the magazine Aktivt Skogsbruk from Sydved.

I am part of an exhibition going on at Linnman Gallery in my hometown Jönköping.

We are 10 artists from differents artistic fields visualizing our vision of what our hometown will be known for in the future.

The artwork is for sale and part of the income goes to “Solstickan” a charity foundation for children.

My contribution to the exhibition was illustrations of three city areas in Jönköping.

When working on the illustrations I had three words on my mind that I want to be significant with my hometown in the future: vibrant - urban - diversity.
These are words more commonly used when describing bigger cities. But I wish they could also be applied on Jönköping as they reveal a place of opportunities.
As a contrast I wanted the water to be present through all three illustrations. The strength of smaller cities is often having the nature just around the corner. In Jönköping the nature is both surrounding and present right in the city center by the three lakes. The water is a great source of rest, recovery and peace.

The big format prints are sold out.

But they are still available in A3 format (420 x 297 mm), 750 SEK each and 2100 SEK for all three.

They are printed in high quality giclee art-print in a limited edition of 20.
