Photography

With the exception of some older section of vicsig, photographs are recorded in the database storing details of the photo, location, date and photographer. The high level of descriptions and location information, and often the date information is used to drive any other page on vicsig that has photographs. This allows photographs that are uploaded to be used anywhere the description/location matches the subject area of another page. In addition to the pages being used for this one of the more popular features of vicsig is the photography search page, allowing anyone to search by other terms such as photographer, or just get a random selection from the database.
