About Iceland in Pictures
Iceland in Pictures is a blog about Iceland, the Icelandic language and Icelanders. I am an Icelander who is deeply in love with Iceland, but currently living abroad most of the time. Living abroad gives a chance to see Iceland for what it really is, a beautiful country of unspoiled nature with an interesting tiny population.
When I am in Iceland, I work as a mountain guide which gives a unique opportunity to connect with the nature, see the country from both a local and touristic perspectives and take some interesting pictures.
Many pictures are my own. However the blog is a tumblr which allows quick and simple blogging and easy reblogging. Even though many posts are reblogs, I always try to add in some useful information about Iceland. Preferably this is useful information that would be hard to come across anywhere else.
