Source from Harbin Tourism Administration, the official opening date of the 2013 Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival will be fixed on January 5, 2013. Nevertheless, the local people may begin to celebrate the festival in Dec. 2012 by taking part in all kinds of winter activities, sports, or ice and snow sculpture competitions.
The opening ceremony of the 2013 ice and snow festival will be held in Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center in Jan 5.
