[UPDATE] Report: Eagles-Cardinals Week 13 Game *NOT* Flexed to Sunday Night Football

Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE

According to a report from BGN alumnus Eliot Shorr-Parks, the Eagles will be playing on Sunday Night Football this season after all.

Due to the Eagles' recent winning streak and generally improved played, they are now being pushed into the spotlight. The same goes for the Arizona Cardinals, who advanced to 6-4 in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

The game was originally scheduled to take place in Philadelphia at 1:00 PM EST.

New York (3-6) and Washington (3-7) figures to be a less meaningful game as compared to Arizona and Philadelphia.

The Eagles only had two nights games prior to this expected flex game: the season opener against the Redskins on Monday Night Football, and the Thursday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

We'll see if the NFL officially confirms this announcement on Monday. The Eagles have a bye this week before returning to action against the Cardinals.
