“Community Action Works is the best of allies when a grassroots community group like NCABC challenges a wealthy corporation’s development plan that jeopardizes the environment and public health. We’ve collaborated through nearly five years of trainings and brainstorming, get-out-the-vote projects, phone banks, rallies and educational initiatives for the public and decision makers. Most recently, CAW provided grant support for the experts who give us a powerful voice in regulatory decisions and also funded a mail campaign to engage our regional community. CAW’s staff is unfailingly ready, experienced and enthusiastic —100% on our team, no matter the project.”
