WORLD'S FIRST DAB+ PHONE

IDAG teamed up with LG Electronics to introduce LG Stylus 2 DAB+, the world's first smartphone with built-in DAB+/DMB. There are number of quality criteria that must be fulfilled for IDAG to approve and market devices in cooperation with manufacturers.

THE INDUSTRY JOINS FORCES

A consortium of broadcasting companies and organizations has joined forces to develop an open and universal interface to ease the implementation of digital radio on smartphones. The Open Mobile Radio Interface (OMRI) was announced during IBC in Amsterdam.
