  • 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid mHEV 125

Hi there, I'm new to the forum and looking to buy my first fiesta and looking for some help/guidance please?  I have read lots about the wet belt ecoboom which was later changed and wondered if the 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid mHEV 125 is a good engine please? I have seen a 2021 plate with 6k miles which looks lovely but as I say I don't really know much about ford engines or mild hybrid. I will of course be getting it serviced regularly but would appreciate any help.  Cheers Chris

    Ecoboost wet cambelt

Amazing how Ford still specify 10 years or 150,000 miles before changing the belts Just had my cambelt changed after 7 years and 100,000 km (62,500 miles)  Just in time as the belt was showing signs of wear with cracking in various places.

    Good afternoon

I am Lochie, old, and I fix cars as a hobby. I have a 2001 Ford Laser KQ here in Australia, not sure of the model name in the UK. It is basically a sound car, 151000KM.  The paint clear coat had peeled (common in Australia) on the roof so sprayed it with white acrylic. Now cooler and it looks better.

LEDs either side of CD slot on later 6000CD units?

What are the two LEDs either side of the CD slot on later 6000CD units for? The unit fitted to my 2006 Mk2 didn't have them. I didn't notice anything about it in the manual. I borrowed this photo showing the LEDs from an eBay listing.

Hi, my 2017 (Mk7.5) fiesta radio screen has decided to die. It now only shows a solid white Image. Radio still functions fine but got no screen. I'm looking at ordering a replacement screen from eBay and was wondering if anyone has had any experience of how easy they are to change? Thanks!
