Mountain Photography Tours and Workshops
Alex Nail is a landscape photographer specialising in mountain and wilderness areas, particularly the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. He has published two books, ‘Northwest’ in 2018 and ‘The Great Wilderness’ in 2023. He is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, serving on their Distinctions Panel. He has worked on commissions for organisations such as the British Tourist Authority, National Trust and Woodland Trust. He writes for photographic and outdoor magazines, both in print and online. He is a joint founder of the Natural Landscape Photography Awards. He is a qualified Mountain Leader and regularly leads intrepid photographers on adventures in the mountains in the UK and internationally.
