The RC-1 Boost® is designed and recommended for use to improve STC and IIC performance with any wall or ceiling application where a resilient channel is specified. The RC-1 Boost® eliminates performance variations between the RC-Deluxe and other resilient channels that are often more readily available and less expensive. The RC-1 Boost®saves labor and material cost compared to the usual approach of increasing acoustical performance of wall and ceiling systems.
