Hydrologidagarna 2023

This year, the hydrologidagarna (HD) will be held at SMHI in Norrköping (Folkborgsvägen 17) on December 7 from 9:00 to 16:00.
On the HD, experts will share their insights on water solutions considering the requirements for ecology, energy, drinking water, food and recreation.
With a changing water cycle, how can we find sustainable solutions for different needs?
The topic aligns with World Water Day earlier in the year and the new IAHS scientific decade HELPING.

The HD will include oral presentations and poster sessions (the final schedule will be announced around November 20).
For in-depth discussions, meeting new and old colleagues or leg stretchers, coffee and lunch breaks are planned.
Thus, the HD is an excellent opportunity to inform about ongoing projects, cooperation, or your organisation’s structures and missions.

In addition to the HD, an excursion at the outskirts of Norrköping is planned on December 8 (09:00-12:00) to mingle and hear, see, and touch water.
We will experience standard and new flow observation methods.

The event including coffee and lunch is free of charge to participants of member organizations.
Non-members are kindly ask to contribute with a small fee of 500 SEK to cover the coffee and lunch (per person to be paid before the event).
This is a perfect time for organizations to become members and contribute to excellent hydrology competence in Sweden, please see https://hydrologi.org/medlemmar/bli-medlem/

If you want to participate, please sign up no later than November 17 2023, at 17:00  using this googleForm https://forms.gle/q3FByHMyp5fphni18  (In case link doesn’t work direct please copy+paste)

We hope to see you and your colleagues on December 7, and look forward to inspiring talks and discussions.

Välkomna!
