thanks for Birthday greetings - had Tai chi this morning and was hoping to have it outside - but raining off and on and so we had it indoors - which I think was better as it is quite windy and we may off fallen over when a gust came though during our Crane poses..... crane take flight may of been an understatement

so I'll post twice - as I'm a 'senior' now
I signed up for a basket weaving course - it was meant to be - it is over 3 Saturday mornings and on the saturday's I don't do class -- what timing
I have made baskets in the past and do like to be creative
my birthday gift to myself ! plus I picked up some playdough
have a good one.....

and yes, the price of the class may be on the high side - but it will be an Mary original 2 color bag - very limited edition....

Just back from a ball game. Today was a ''school day''. Bus loads of screaming kids running around the stadium. Fortunately, management offers season ticket holders a private suite so we can enjoy the game well away from the chaos. And, they won!

I have questions for you, Wolf, now that you've returned - would love a description of your celebrated Solar Eclipse; lucky you - no rain or clouds marring that event! Did all your family have an opportunity to view it? How was your family reunion as well??

Belated birthday wishes, Mary.

I’m in Wooster, Ohio tonight. Had quite the drive to get here as thunderstorms and tornado warnings were ahead of us, also traveling east. We kept having to stop and wait to make sure we didn’t intercept the storm. At one point I went into a convenience store and watched the weather radar on their TV screen so I could see exactly where the cloud rotation was and where it was headed. We drove on wet pavement all day headed ever towards the lightning but stayed mostly behind the storm so clear skies to the west “had our backs.”

Tomorrow is the start of our fourth attempt to visit Mt Augustus. The weather forecast is for glorious warm weather and 0% chance of rain!
Granddaughter is dog sitting for us which has necessitated a thorough spring clean of the house. Comments such as “we’ll never get finished” and “have you done so and so” abound. Good heavens, the girl is at our place every week so I don’t see the need to tart it up. See (sic) you all next week.
