The restaurants of New York City are springing back to life now that the power has been restored to many parts of Lower Manhattan. Here's an updated guide to the eating and drinking establishments that are open in New York City right now. A huge thanks to all the readers, chefs, and restaurateurs that sent in tips over the last seven days.
4:30 p.m. Sunday:
Meatball Shop: All three locations of The Meatball Shop are back up and running.
Porsena and Porchetta: Both are open tonight. Extra Bar will reopen on Tuesday.
Blue Ribbon: Reopened yesterday. From the Twitter account: "Full and rocking at 1am just like it has been for the last 1,040 Saturday nights!!"
Mr. Chow: Reopened yesterday. Tell your celebrity friends.
Rosemary's and Bobo: Both of Carlos Suarez's restaurants are now open.

Indie Food & Wine and Betto: These two Jason Denton restaurants are OPEN, OPEN, OPEN. 'inoteca, Corsino, and 'ino remain closed, but the team hopes to get a generator for 'ino tomorrow.
Le Rivage: This French gem on Restaurant Row is back in full effect. Open for dinner.

Jack Horse Tavern: A tipster writes in: "Jack the Horse Tavern in Brooklyn Heights is up and running its full menu."
Oceana, Molyvos, and Abboccato: The Livanos Group's restaurants have been back in action since last night. Open.
Barrio 47: Open with candlelight, and serving rib-eye and a half-roasted chicken made in a wood-fired oven. A vegetarian pasta is also available.

Eat as much fusilli with octopus and bone marrow as you possibly can. Hard times call for drastic measures, but there is no judgement here.
Elmo: One of the employees of this Chelsea restaurant sends word that Elmo is open for "candlelit cocktails" this evening.
Rare Bar & Grill NYC: The Chelsea location is open, with $4 beers.
Nick & Toni's Cafe: Open for business as usual.
Northeast Kingdom: This Bushwick restaurant is open till 11 p.m.

Thursday, 2:15 p.m.:
Left Bank: This West Village restaurant has been open the past two nights, and will continue service tonight. Chef/owner Laurence Edelman is alone in the kitchen, his wife is manning the bar along with co-owner Micheline Gaulin, and one of their busboys is taking care of the rest. The menu for tonight will include: wild striped bass, grassfed ribeye, fiorentine with kid goat ragu, house-made sausage, and some vegetables.
Num Pang: The original, Union Square location is open and giving away FREE SANDWICHES while supplies last.
Russ & Daughters: Open till 5 p.m. today. One of the managers writes in: "We have a generator, and all of the fish was protected/saved."
4Food: Reopened this morning at 11 a.m., and will stay open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday. Important note: All 86 seats have electrical outlets and the restaurant has free iPads for you to use, plus wifi.
Co. and Sullivan Street Bakery: Jim Lahey's pizzeria and both of his bakeries are OPEN for business.
Il Buco Alimentari: Grilling meat out on Great Jones Street:

The John Dory Oyster Bar and the Breslin: Both of these restaurants in the Ace Hotel are open for diners-only. The JDOB is open from noon till 10 p.m., and the Breslin is open from 7 a.m. till midnight.
Nitehawk Cinema: The movie theater and the restaurant are now open.
Zengo and Pampano: These Richard Sandoval restaurants are now open, business as usual.
Crown: John DeLucie's swanky UES restaurant is OPEN.
Casellula: Get your cheese and wine here from 5 p.m. till 2 a.m.

Arthur on Smith: Open for lunch today and tomorrow, brunch on the weekends, and dinner seven nights a week. One of the employees at the restaurant notes: "We will stay open on our regular schedule as long as we get product in the doors!"
Barrio 47: Dinner by candlelight tonight.
The Spotted Pig: Opened for drinks last night, and open again today for drinks, coffee, and whatever food the kitchen can prepare from now till 10 p.m. A rep notes: "They are still without power, but want to provide a neighborhood gathering spot for people to enjoy the company of others." Locanda Verde and The Dutch: Both of Carmellini's restaurants are open for dinner tonight, but they will be closed tomorrow. Also, a crucial update on Trufflepalooza, which was scheduled for tomorrow night: "Those wishing to re-book their existing Trufflepalooza reservation on Monday should call Locanda Verde for reservations to Franken-Palooza on Wednesday, October 31. The show must go on. Truffles to the People!"
City Crab, Duke's, and Big Daddy's: All of the Branded restaurants will stay open tonight, tomorrow, and Tuesday. City Crab will offer half-price beer, wine, and cocktails on Monday and Tuesday. Big Daddy's will offer a half-price happy hour both days. Duke's will serve $5 Hurricanes.
