Ordered an E27 dimmer lamp base. Was kept up to date on order/delivery. Delivery arrived on time. The lamp base is actually nicer in real life, so super pleased. Highly recommend and will definitely order from Castlegate again.

Great items, great delivery times and updates, a very easy returns policy. A good company to deal with while we were doing a loft extension and our requirements were changing as the build developed. Would definitely buy from again because of the ease of returns which we needed to a couple of times.

I had a problem with one of the lights I had ordered. I loved the lights and just wanted to exchange for the same light. I phoned customer care and was greeted by a professional and friendly member of the team, who talked me through the process of exchanging the light.
I was amazed how super efficient the staff member was and my problem was solved within 24 hours, new light ordered and the problem light ready for collection.
I appreciate the fact that was able to speak directly to a member of very helpful staff and wasn’t referred to a chat bot or sign posted to Q&As that never solve the issue either.

What a shame, after ordering a huge triple light lamp, it’s arrived damaged With a lot of scratching and damage to the finish.
Happy with the light but disappointed with damage, these lights come in a huge box with very extensive packaging, I suggested perhaps give me a part refund to save hassle, returning and costs on their part, but this company wouldn’t do that. Very disappointed.! They did not offer a return label, no way was I going to pay for the return of this light it would’ve cost a fortune.
Shame as I would’ve used this company to buy lots of lamps for our large property conversion, this company has lost out on The sale of about 15 lights/lamps

Wrong item sent on initial delivery but this was sorted out promptly with a prepaid label sent to myself to return item. The correct replacement was sent out as soon as it was in stock again.

Ordered my table lamp only days before Christmas and the very helpful lady explained it would possibly be just after Christmas as they had to order in the shade. She did say that if they received the shade in time they would despatch it. Well, I received it on 22nd and it is absolutely beautiful. Well packaged. Fantastic customer service. I would definitely recommend.

We bought two of DAR Trent Single External Light in a Black Gold Finish as porch lights for the back and front of our house. We are absolutely delighted with them.
They are a great quality item with a good weight to them. These lights are far cheaper here at Castlegate Lights than we saw for the exact same lights in John Lewis website.
We definitely recommend seller. They arrived extremely well packaged and arrived very quickly too.
I will be looking here first for my next set of lights.

After studying reviews of lighting stores, Castlegate rate very highly and now I can understand why. Not only are their prices very competitive but just as important is their excellent customer service. One of the three lights I had chosen was delayed and Elaine went out of her way to locate an appropriate replacement, I was contacted by phone and email and the products arrived the following day. Excessive packaging (giant boxes filled with sealed air more than double the size of the inner carton). This needs to be addressed as it's completely unsustainable. Otherwise friendly customer service, willingness to part ship lights due to supply issues. Cheaper than Wayfair. Would deal with again if they improve their carbon footprint.

Purchased a light fixture that stated 7 days for delivery, after 9 days no item, i contacted them i they said "we are waiting for stock to arrive from the supplier which is delayed till 19th January unfortunately which we were not aware of when you placed your order" At no point did they contact me to let me know of the delay just kept my order and money. The response i got came from no name entity, they signed off Castlegate Lights... not a good experience. I asked for a refund, hoping they might be a bit more prompt responding, but had to follow this up too!

I ordered a plastic globe outside light to replace an existing broken one.
It blended well with my other two metal lights, despite being bigger. However it looked a bit better than them and changing the bulb was very much easier. I was so impressed that I ordered two more and replaced all three lights.
The deliveries were quick and well packed.
Placing the lights was easy for me and required no electrician, though a power drill is necessary to drill holes for the screws for outside wall fitting. (In my case a stone wall).
I am very happy with my purchases.
