Each week is different and offers high-quality opportunities for youth to learn about Art and Art History in a nurturing environment at the Salem Art Association (SAA). All camps take place at the Bush Barn Art Center & Annex in Salem's Bush's Pasture Park.

Monday 6/24 - Friday 6/28: Metamorphosis
Monday 7/15 - Friday 7/19: The Earth Aquatic
Monday 7/22 - Friday 7/26: Making Myths
Monday 8/5 - Friday 8/9: Deep Space
Monday 8/12 - Friday 8/16: Dinosaurs!

Each week has two sessions: the morning session is for kids 8-10 years old and will last from 9 a.m. to noon. Afternoon sessions are for kids 11-13 years old and run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Queer Love

Jodi Thomas and Eric Tautkus, in association with SAA, proudly bring you an opportunity to step into a world where differentiating between the subject and the muse becomes blurred and undefined.

Fresh Perspectives presents some of the Mid-Willamette Valley’s most current art and ideas by 14 artists graduating from nearby colleges and universities. Their work explores a range of personal and contemporary subjects through ceramics, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and other media. Artists Sharon Cook and Kay Pendleton decided long ago not to color in the lines or stay in their own lanes. They met in an artist’s studio during a workshop in 2018, and it was synergy at first sight!

The Salem Art Association (SAA) seeks Salem area (address in City limits) tattoo artists to participate in an exhibition in the Focus Gallery at the Bush Barn Art Center in May | June 2024. This exhibition presents tattoo artists working in Salem, Oregon, using a digital format of presentation.
