INTOSAI Audit

From 11 to 15 March 2024, INTOSAI's financial statements for the year 2023 were audited at the headquarters of the INTOSAI General Secretariat in Vienna, Austria.

The external auditors from the SAIs of Jamaica and Ecuador submitted their audit results with an unqualified opinion to the General Secretariat for inclusion in the annual report, which will be submitted to the Governing Board by June 2024.

According to the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Report 2023, it will take 131 years to reach global gender parity at the current rate. The progress made in recent decades has been largely neutralized by the Covid-19 pandemic and successive economic and geopolitical crises. Despite regional differences, no country has achieved gender parity, making this a true global issue.
