Eclectica 3 Collection By Darcy Wilkinson For PaperArtsy ....

Hello everyone ....  if you have been keeping up with all the goings on over on the PaperArtsy blog then you will know that exciting things are afoot at PaperArtsy HQ. Tonight the lovely Darcy is revealing her new stamp collection prior to her demo day at Stamparama in Stevenage tomorrow. Myself and some other lucky peeps got to play with the new goodies which you can see HERE.

My first sample included designs from EDY08 & EDY06 ....

I really love the bright zany colours on these particular images which were stamped onto Smoothy White Stamping Card using Archival Ink then highlighted with the following Fresco Paints  .... Bora Bora, South Pacific, Pumpkin Soup, Yellow Submarine, Autumn Fire & Hey Pesto.

One of my fav new mini designs is EM08 ....

This sample was created using an ATC piece of Greyboard which was covered using Nougat, then Space Cadet and South Pacific. I then added Pumkin Soup, Claret & some Yellow Submarine.

You may remember this fella from EDY05 who featured recently HERE

All Darcy's new stamps will be available via your local stamp store in the coming weeks for PaperArtsy Trade customers to order. Initially shops will be able to order direct from PaperArtsy next week online (wholesale website only) or in person at the Craft Hobby and Stitch International Trade Show, NEC Birmingham, Feb 16-18. Documente Life Project {Catch Up}

Hello everyone .... hope you are all good. Yes I know don't all collapse with the shock!!

Seriously has it really been 3 months since I last blogged ...... *hangs head in shame* ..... note to self "must try harder"!! Life still continues to be a bit of a rollercoaster ride at the mo .... some key changes needed in 2014 but hey Rome wasn't built in a day.

One thing I am managing to keep on top of at the moment is the Documented Life Project inspired by Roben - Marie Smith, Lorraine Bell, Rae Missigman, Sandi Keene & Barbara Moore. Here is some of the challenges so far.

Journal Book  - Enjoying the process.

This prompt was all about our doors opening onto a new year .... for me some new beginnings.

Loving Zesty Zing, Tango & Yellow Submarine Fresco Paints.

This prompt was all about Mail Art ... Darcy and I agreed to do a swap for this challenge. This was the envelope I created using lots of Fresco Paints and Dylusion Spray Inks.

{Back}

You can see the gorgeous Mail Art I received from Darcy HERE

Next up was writing a secret message but keeping one word exposed ... my word "SOUL". I had so much fun using creating this page {very busy which is unlike my norm), love love love the colours, again Fresco Paints and Dylusion Spray Ink.

A close up of all the layers, torn 6x6 papers, stencilling & stamping. Fresco Paints used - Blush, Antartic, Bora Bora, Beach Hut, Lake Wanaka, Hey Pesto & Candy Floss. Dylusion Spray Ink (Bubblegum Pink, Crushed Grape, Black Marble & White Linen).

Last but not least the key word "Soul" ... Do what makes your soul happy! I certainly need more of that right now.

So that's all for now, however I may even be back with another blog post this week .... watch this space.See you don't see me for months then a possible 2 blog posts in one week lol!

Have a great week. See you all soon. x

Life shows no signs of slowing down, so grabbing the chance to do a little recap and show some pieces of recent artwork using the fabulous stamps designed by Darcy Wilkinson for PaperArtsy. You can see more fab artwork by clicking HERE. Darcy has some more designs making their debut later on this week .... watch this space :)

So last weekend was the Stamp Magic show in Doncaster. It was my 1st time at this particular show which was held at the Doncaster Dome. Lots of lovely #patwits popped by the stand to say hello.
