Executive meddling in judicial affairs won't be tolerated: Pakistan chief justice
Following the allegations posed by high court judges claiming interference by intelligence agencies in judicial processes, the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP), Qazi Faez Isa, reaffirmed the sanctity of the judiciary, declaring that under no circumstances would the autonomy of judges be compromised. CJP gave this statement after meeting Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Supreme Court on Thursday.
