Going way back in the WayBack Machine, all the way back to the early days of the internet, Jaimie had an idea for a funny website. At the time, there were a few humorous sites making the rounds...MulletsGalore, Am I Hot or Not, and other weird stuff. Jaimie had noticed that a lot of older gentlemen of a certain age start to look like The Gambler, Kenny Rogers, whether they mean to or not. He wanted to learn how to make websites for the first time, so he used his Kenny lookalike idea as a guinea pig for his first site. Thus was born MenWhoLookLikeKennyRogers.com. It started off small, with a few photos of guys and some tips on how to look like Kenny, plus a few tips on where to look for your own Kennys. He sent the link to a few friends and they thought it was funny and forwarded it to other friends and the rest is history. The next thing you know, a hundred, a thousand, and then two thousand people a day were coming to the site. Then, one night, Harry Shearer of SNL, The Simpsons and Spinal Tap said on a TV show talk show that the funniest thing he'd seen in years was a website called MenWhoLookLikeKennyRogers.com. And then it was 16,000 people a day. Later on it was featured as the answer to a question in Trivial Pursuit and a character in a popular video game was wearing a MWLLKR shirt. Kenny himself started getting asked about the site and he declared that he loved it and his favorite "Kenny" was Hot Tub Kenny. And then the topper...Yahoo! named the website one of the Top 100 Websites in the History of the Internet. Seriously. The site continues on RIGHT HERE, basically as an archive, still making people laugh and still causing the real Kenny Rogers to get asked for the gazillionth time, "What do you think of MenWhoLookLikeKennyRogers.com?"

He knows when to hold 'em, and he knows when to fold 'em. He also knows how to make awesome corn muffins that come with the meals served at his chain of fire-roasted chicken restaurants. Now, with the help of this Top Secret Recipe, you can make some sweet corn muffins of your own that taste just like Kenny's!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 CUP OF BUTTER
2/3 CUP OF SUGAR
1/4 CUP OF HONEY
2 EGGS
1/2 TEASPOON OF SALT
1 1/2 CUPS OF ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
3/4 CUP OF YELLOW CORN MEAL
1/2 TEASPOON OF BAKING POWDER
1/2 CUP OF MILK
3/4 CUP OF FROZEN YELLOW CORN
DIRECTIONS
1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
2. CREAM TOGETHER BUTTER, SUGAR, HONEY, EGGS AND SALT IN A LARGE BOWL
3. ADD FLOUR, CORN MEAL AND BAKING POWDER AND BLEND THOROUGHLY. ADD MILK WHILE MIXING.
4. ADD CORN TO MIXTURE AND COMBINE BY HAND UNTIL CORN IS WORKED IN.
5. GREASE A 12-CUP MUFFIN PAN AND FILL EACH CUP WITH BATTER. BAKE FOR 20-25 MINUTES OR UNTIL MUFFINS BEGIN TO TURN BROWN.

TV SPECIAL "TRIBUTE TO KENNY" FEATURING MY SITE
A number of years ago, a television production company filmed a special tribute to Kenny Rogers. They asked my permission to use some of the photos from my website to create a special segment of the show. They wrote a song and had someone perform it while the "Kennys" from my site appeared on screen. Sadly, the tribute show never aired as far as I know...but this segment lives on! Enjoy!
