Representing a diverse range of artists, the publishing powerhouse has set trends and influenced the contemporary art market since 1986. Today, Washington Green continues to be one of the most well-respected art publishers in the world, representing some of the world’s leading contemporary artists including Bob Dylan, Ronnie Wood and Lorenzo Quinn.
In 2005 Washington Green acquired Castle Fine Art. Thanks to Washington Green’s expertise in art curation, Castle Fine Art has delivered quality, creativity and style to its clients for the past 25 years. With a current estate of 40 galleries across the UK, Castle Fine Art is widely regarded as the UK’s most innovative retail gallery group.
Until 2017, Washington Green supplied independent galleries across the world, primarily UK, Europe and USA. Since Castle Fine Art’s growth surge, it is now Washington Green’s only retail gallery relationship. Unlike other galleries, who share publishers with their competitors, Washington Green art is unique and exclusive to Castle Fine Art. The Halcyon Group, of which Washington Green and Castle Fine Art are part, is now one of the largest and most respected art groups in the world.

Washington Green has always firmly believed that their artists are the cornerstone of their success. The translation from original art to collectable editions and sculpture is a unique marriage between publisher and artist and as such, developing a solid relationship with artists is paramount.
The team strives to provide support and encouragement to both existing and new artists, and they are always on hand to offer advice, support or direction.

PUBLISHING: AN ARTFORM
Washington Green employs the finest processes, materials and artistic direction to ensure the faithful translation of original painting to limited edition. Print-making is in itself an art form, and the marriage between the contemporary artist and the traditional print-maker guarantees the faithful reproduction of original oils, watercolours and pastels into editions of superb quality.
The editions in Washington Green's collection are produced using a range of techniques, including lithography, silkscreen, or the giclée process. Their outstanding range of unique sculpture is a great addition to the already highly collectable paintings from some of the country’s leading artists. All are handcrafted using the finest materials appropriate to each particular piece, be it bronze, bronze resin or hand-painted resins.
