Ayurveda Virtual Course with Dr. Sujatha Kekada • Begins April 25
You are welcome here.
All parts of you are embraced in the vast field of yoga.
Our vision is one of an inclusive, diverse, compassionate community that will nourish body, mind, spirit.
Janet lends a warmth and wealth of practice and knowledge to create a unique, safe, potent approach to living yoga.
Portugal has been on the retreat wish list for so many years, and finally—finally—I am so excited to announce that we are going.
Escape to the serene landscapes of Portugal for a rejuvenating retreat. From morning sunrise practices to sunset dinners, our time together will reflect the spaciousness of wide open skies and the calming rhythm of the sea.
We'll head to Monte Velho retreat center in the Algarve to find space to expand our perspective. We'll settle in with views of the Atlantic Ocean, which is about 2 km away, for rejuvenation, practice and incredible food.
Offerings will include daily yoga (twice a day most days), day trips to the beach, access to the spa, sauna and steam room, and fresh, local meals. Optional activities and excursions include stargazing & storytelling, guided hikes through the nature preserve, and SUP, surf or kayaking excursions.
Through immersive, deep Sadhana (dedicated practice), we become more intimate with our inner self, unwinding hold habits and patterns, exploring our deepest heart intention (Sankalpa) and practicing aligning our moment-to-moment choices with our intention.
This is a place to be reminded, to remember, and to remind others what we’ve seemingly forgotten along the way of this wild, divisive, distracting spin of life, thoughts, old habits and patterns.
Through live and virtual immersions, classes, retreats, trainings, we hope you find a home here.
I am thrilled to collaborate with Dr. Sujatha Kekada, an Ayurvedic practitioner based in Ubud, Bali, to co-create this course exploring the synergy of the sister sciences of yoga and Ayurveda. These two paths of wisdom complement each other and truly belong together.
Dr Sujatha and I each have over 20 plus years of experience in our respective fields, and we've collaborated in live trainings for nearly a decade. This course reflects our shared understanding that the practices of yoga and the science of Ayurveda can create a strong foundation of resilience and balance in the whole being.
Over 4 weeks, Dr. Sujatha will share the rich practical and conceptual foundations of Ayurveda, the science of life. We will explore putting this into practice with me as we apply it to daily life.
