My Focus

Thank you for your interest. I am a full stack developer with over 10 years experience working with large scale, high traffic websites. I have amassed a large and diverse skill set involving every aspect of web development. I have experience with e-commerce solutions, ADA compliance, System Administration, API integrations, optimization, front end development, and more. I am competent in the use of multiple programming languages, and I am constantly adding new ones to my repertoire. As programming is an ever changing industry with new technologies frequently being introduced. I feel it is necessary to be up to date with these changes in order to find ways to produce more stable code written in less time.

My Philosophy

As a System Administrator and Developer, I have access to highly sensitive and personal information. I hold myself to a very high ethical standard, and I understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of the information I access. I take a great deal of pride in my work, and I strive to provide elegant and simple solutions to complex problems. I believe that source code should be well documented and written in a clear and easy to understand manner. Most source code will need to be maintained over time, and this may not be done by the original author. Having easy to understand source code reduces the amount of time required to debug and maintain the site. My two greatest pleasures as a developer are finding solutions to challenging problems and having others enjoy my programming. I love writing code and learning new technologies. I often have side projects that I work on after hours for enjoyment.

My Career Path

One of my strengths as a developer is being able to break down large and complex problems into simple and easy to understand pieces. I enjoy being able to create systems that excite users and inspire them. I believe that code should be stable and flexible, while allowing for growth over time. I hope to continue working in an environment where I am able to create projects that make an impact in people's lives.
