Take a crack at that most timeless of athletic challenges - the full 42.2k marathon. Our exciting new Full Marathon course was hugely popular in 2023. It takes in and flat, scenic and spectator friendly tour of iconic landmarks such as Hagley Park, the Christchurch Town Hall, Canterbury Museum and the Avon River. The course is NZ's fastest & the distance is certified to IAAF & AIMS standard.

The Half Marathon can be a step up to the full distance or a great goal in itself, and walkers are welcome. Our spectator friendly new course was a huge hit in 2023. It takes in 21.1k of the same flat, fast and scenic tour of iconic landmarks such as Hagley Park, the Christchurch Town Hall, Canterbury Museum and Avon River. As NZ's fastest course, Christchurch is the place to be for a PB & the distance is certified to IAAF & AIMS standard.

The 10km is our offering to get more people involved in a great community occasion. If you're just getting into running or walking, or looking for a goal to keep your fitness together over winter, or maybe you're a teen keen to stay involved after doing the Kids' Mara'Fun, the 10km is you.

Held on a safe & scenic course in Hagley Park, this is one event where kids are treated as equals. There are categories and distances to suit every age and every finisher wins a medal. – All races will be entirely within Hagley Park on the cycle/foot paths.

When a loved one is in hospital, it can be overwhelming. That’s why having a place of respite is so important.
Rānui House is a home away from home for families who need to travel to Christchurch for life-saving medical treatment. Owned and managed by the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust, Rānui House’s 26 apartments opposite Christchurch Hospital provide a warm, welcoming space so families can stay close. We are here because we know that when families are together, they heal faster.
It doesn’t matter how old you are or what kind of treatment you’re going through - everyone is welcome at Rānui House.
