Free family-raised chimp Ola from poor zoo-cage!

For almost two decades, family-raised orphan chimpanzee Ola from Sweden has been caged under dreadful conditions without either sunlight or human contact at Zoo Safari World in Thailand. He has a far-gone eye disease and is depressed. Payment, flight and a place at Chimfunshi in Zambia is fixed since several years, but the zoo refuses to release him... Ola was fifteen years old when this petition started - now he is twenty-two. We hope to one day be able to help him, despite rumours that he has disappeared.
To Safari World Public Company Limited:

Fifteen-year-old chimpanzee Ola once was a well known movie- and theatre-actor(!) - now he lives a sad, caged and hidden life with three females, after having been sold to your zoo from Öland's animal habitat in Sweden. His "family", and thousands of friends of Ola, have for years demanded that Ola be freed from Thailand and moved to Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage sanctuary in Zambia. Nevertheless, you refuse to let go of your apes, though they - due to a bad condition, physically as well as psycally - are neither lucky in breeding, nor any tourist attraction. Ola's friends - in and outside Sweden - cannot understand why you keep holding him and his females, and will not give up the idea of letting Ola come to a ape-worthy, green "home" in Zambia. Please take this demand for serious - mistreated animals is not good publicity for a zoo anyway!
