• Student ID numbers changed (Friday, February 23, 2024)
  

  The transition to the new student information system required a change to your student id number.

  Please note:

  Your Student ID number has changed to include the letter “w” before the number:
  If you had a 9-digit ID number beginning with two zeros “001234567” it has become “w1234567”
  If had a 7-digit ID number “1234567” it has become “w1234567”
  To log into blackboard, MyWestern and to log in to any on-campus computers, you will use your new Student ID number. 
  Your password will remain the same, as will your student email address.

  
  
• 7 week courses coming Summer and Fall of 2024 (Friday, January 26, 2024)
  

  7-week courses coming Summer and Fall of 2024! Western is transitioning most courses to a 7-week format. That means there will be two 7-week Sessions in each term: Summer, Fall, and Spring. You’ll have fewer courses at once to focus on, while earning the same … or even more credits … each term.

• Blackboard Login (Tuesday, January 23, 2024)
  

  Please login to blackboard using the new Single Sign On (SSO) option where it says 'Click Here to Login' using your western email address. We will be transitioning to using just this login in the near future, please make sure it works for you. The other option will be discontinued.

  Western’s Student Resource Request system is available to students to help when life situations get in the way of your success. Complete the Student Resource Request and a staff member will reach out to help navigate campus and community resources.
