- Search a word simply by writing search-word in the search field without any prefixes
or other charachters.
- You can type your words in Syriac, English, Swedish or Arabic in the search field and click the search-button. The
result is all the words in the database that matches your query.
- You can search in Syriac with or without vowels.
-Without vowels will result in a wider search result.
-Whereas with vowels will give you a more exakt matching and you still will be able to search by "contain".

 Installing Syriac

 You don't need to install meltho fonts to use the dictionary. You need the fonts if you want
to write and read Syriac in Office-documents.
Installing Syriac (meltho-fonts) on Windows 7 - 10 
- Download the fonts here and unpack them in the fonts map in your PC.
Installing Syriac fonts on Linux 
Log in as administrator (root) in your terminal by typing:
$sudo su
Just create a directory syriacotf in your /usr/share/fonts/, unpack the fonts and copy them to the newly created directory
#mkdir /usr/share/fonts/syriacotf
Run
#fc-cache -fv in your terminal and restart firefox.
Or log in as administrator (root) in your terminal by typing
$sudo su
Just create a directory syriacotf in your using nautilus as root
#nautilus
Create /usr/share/fonts/syriacttf and unpack the tar.gz-file in it.
Run
#fc-cache -fv in your terminal and restart firefox.
Writing Syriac with LibreOffice
It has been possible to write Syriac withe MS Office for quite a
while.
Now it's possible to write Syriac on with the free LibreOffice Writer on Linux with the same package of fonts "Meltho fonts". Click on the image
