Johanna and Jonas Goodbye party #1
The Fuxe family is leaving the US on June 28th and we decided to have a dinner at our house with the theatrechicks (our group of girls that go out for theater+dinner about once a month). This is just one of a couple of parties for the Fuxe family. There will be one next week that they host and then we will have another one with the Stroller Strides girls. We started off the evening with some punch, appetizers and mingling...
Monica and Mike had made a slide show with pictures from out time together, it is 3 years and there have been many great moments....then time for dinner...

 

After dinner time to play. Monica had made one of her music trivia games. One had to keep track of how old Jimi Hendrix was when he died, what Swedish band has made the Billboard top 10 of most sold albums during the 20th century, the 10 commendments...you name it! They all did pretty good!
I think that we eventually came to the conclusion that team David, Johanna and Jess won...but I am not sure, there was some uncertainty about the counting of points, to much wine already :)?

And after dessert some dancing....that sure wasn't yesterday!
And here they are, the guests of honor this evening, Johanna and Jonas. This was an evening to celebrate all the good times we have shared adn we sure had a great time. But I can still not understand that in a month they will not be part of our daily life anymore. It is very sad to see good friends leave, and good friends like the Fuxe family, they are rare, very rare...
