Den norska bokbloggaren “Flukten fra virkeligheten” har varje söndag en rolig liten utmaning där man ska skriva ner en liten smakbit av boken man läser för tillfället. Just nu läser jag bland annat ”Requiem” av Lauren Oliver och här kommer min smakbit;
Handling:

”Go,” Pippa says. ”Don’t worry. I’ll meet you at the safe house.”
Raven stares at her for a few more seconds, and then begins to turn around again.
Then Pippa calls, ”But if I’m not there in three days, don’t wait.”
Her voice never loses its calm. And I know, now, what the look was that I saw earlier in her eyes. It was beyond calm. It was resignation. It was the look of someone who knows she will die.
We leave Pippa behind, standing in the dark, teemin bowels of the camp, while the sun begins to stain the sky electric, and from all sides the guns draw closer.

Lauren Olivers böcker har jag kikat på många gånger, men har inte kommit till skott än.

Jag har inte läst några av Lauren Olivers böcker, men man ser dem ju titt som tätt på bokbloggarna, så jag förstår att de är populära!
Stöter på hans böcker lite här och var på bloggar, men än så länge har jag inte fallit för dem ;-) Tack för smakbiten!

Jeg har hørt mye om denne trilogien på youtube og har veldig lyst til å lese dem, men er samtidig litt usikker. Takk for smakebit og ha en fin kveld:)
Än så länge är jag mycket nöjd med hela trilogin och jag har ungefär 20% kvar av sista boken :)
