There are number of changing objects and potential issues when sourcing the development.

On my talk I will cover by my experience the full IT software development procuring life-cycle from identifying the vendor till sun-setting the partnership by talking about identifying potential companies, specifying the need, running tenders, partnership building and management, common issues and different understandings. Transformation to Agile from other software development methodologies is hard. Jim Coplien, one of the Scrum trainers, says that up to 70% of implementations fail.

I will talk about the experience of being a first ScrumMaster in Skype for Windows team, when team switched over from using Waterfall alike methodology to Scrum.

Abstract:
Beta testing has been around for long time, but the world around has changed.
We develop software today very differently that we did 5 or 10 years ago.
On this presentation we look on how and if to have Beta testing on modern product developed using Agile methodologies.
I will provide information what Beta testing is and what are the important bits for running it on products running on fast pace.

Experience report about common issues on software vendor relations - different understanding of scope; late changes; eliminating waste; ownership of intellectual property; tools ownership; from who and where to buy services?

Lecture to the University of Tartu Masters students on the topic of "Outsourcing software development and testing.".

After following the 8 hours lecture they gained the basic knowledge on how to engage with vendors, how to run outsourced projects, how to keep information flowing and also an overview of number of potential issues raising from daily work.

Presentation about Beta Programs on TopConf 2012.

We hosted a 16 hours hands-on lecture on the topic of Software testing in University of Tartu.

The lecture covered the key areas of software testing and gave number of real life examples what will happen if you don't test your software properly.

After the subject the students got broad overview of the topic and information from where to proceed to have their own products properly covered with testing services.
