These wonderful items, in part, are partially the legacy of my grandmother and grandfather, Anna C.and David S. Robinson, passed on to my mother, Gertrude Gold and father, Harry A. Gold,, then shared and added to with my mother's second husband, Sol Koplowitz, as a representation of their love and devotion to each other and to family.
These pieces belong with family whom Gertrude and Sol cherished more than anything.
If memory serves me correctly, Herb wanted the ivories, Isabelle wanted the opera glasses, Juliet wanted the blue urn; but that could be absolutely wrong. Of course, Matt, Jill, Kate and Daniel should look, too. I will send them where I arrange it with Isabelle.
I am keeping the tea set for the child of one of my children and one porcelain basket that belonged to my grandmother.
