Summer Camp 2010 Photos!

Our 2010 summer camp was an amazing two-week experience for all involved. Great weather, lots of fun activities on and off the farm and awesome staff and campers helped make this year's camp a huge success. Summer Camp 2009: Fun and Learning on the Farm!

Summer Camp 2009 at Featherfoot Farm had great weather, great activities and great friends! Seventeen campers braved early morning swims, participated in chores and activities, made lots of new friends and learned the daily operations of an organic family farm.

A Filly is Born!

Well we knew it was coming but these things are so often not easy to tell. Needless to say it was quite a surprise while doing morning chores to see a new little one already standing albeit a little shaky. In no time at all the filly was up and running and most importantly nursing well. Here are some images from the first few hours.

Featherfoot Farm Journal Spring 2008

An incredibly snowy winter, one of the snowiest in Maine's history, finally gave way to a beautiful spring. This transformation, however predictable and measured, always seems to take us by surprise. It's difficult to imaging fields covered with snow and ice springing up into landscapes of pastelled wild flowers and grasses.
