Small and extremely versatile for a 2 Camera DVR. This little unit utilizes AVI compression for recording and playback which offers beautiful picture quality. Video playback further offered 320x240 resolution at 10 FPS, which is definitely a very smooth playback (not jerky in the slightest). Includes a Video Out cable for viewing on your TV or Monitor all your recordings and live picture display. Live picture display is in JPEG format. While JPEG format is certainly not as sharp as the units AVI recordings, generally the concern to most is the recording end of it and not necessarily the live display. Next, due to it's size, the unit sets up in less than a minute.
