The IFLA 2011 conference is starting on Sunday. But already on Saturday my commitments begins with my first Standing Committee meeting (SC-meeting) in the CPDWL-section (Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning). We will have two meetings during the conference, on Saturday and on Wednesday. Additionally we’ll have a section dinner on Saturday.
On Tuesday morning, I will give my presentation on the values, strategy and skill management work of the SLU Library. Will be exciting!
On Saturday afternoon I will go to the Caucus for the Nordic countries, where among other things there will be a review of the next year's IFLA conference taking place in Helsinki.
Monday evening I will attend a meeting organized by the different Nordic library associations.
The program for the conference offers many exciting features and as usual there is a large exhibition. So the time will surely be filled with lots of great content. During the conference I hope to be able to blog on some of my comments.
