New CEG'er
Recently, my car (2000 SVT) died and wouldn't start. I replaced the fuel pump with the Focus SVT part (for the second time) and it started. However, it runs very rough and frequently stalls. It generates the P0190 code within a couple of minutes of idling. I searched and didn't see any mention of this code on the forum. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be related to the MAF sensor?
It's just odd that the car was running fine before it died and that replacing the pump allowed it to immediately start again, however with the mentioned problems. Perhaps I received a bad fuel pump?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I also changed the fuel filter while changing the pump.
