CMA CGM to add Le Havre, Beirut to North China Express

   CMA CGM is adding Le Havre in its native France and Beirut in Lebanon to its weekly North China Express service.
   The vessel "CMA CGM Baudelaire" will make the first call at Le Havre Oct. 28 before calling Beirut Nov. 6. after an eight-day transit.
   The NCX service uses nine ships of about 6,500 TEUs and will have a revised port rotation of Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Yantian, Port Kelang, Malta, Southampton, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Beirut, Jeddah, Port Kelang, and back to Xingang.
   The Marseilles-based carrier said it will operate dedicated feeders from Beirut to serve the local market and the neighboring ports of Lattakia and Tartous in Syria, Mersin in Turkey, and Limasol in Cyprus.
   APL, China Shipping Container Lines, Evergreen Marine and CMA CGM-subsidiary ANL Container Line all take slots on the NCX loop.
