About Us

Climate Communication is a non-profit science and outreach project supported by a grant from the Hartfield Foundation and individual donations (see below to contribute). Climate Communication operates as a project of the Aspen Global Change Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the scientific understanding of Earth systems and global environmental change.

Meet our staff and science advisors:

Climate Notes LogoSome of the content on this site found in Our Climate is Changing and How it Will Affect Us originated from a project called ClimateNotes. ClimateNotes, authored by Climate Communication staff, was initiated by Active Philanthropy and funded by the Good Energies Foundation. In Spring 2013, new animations were added to these sections to provide a guided tour through the graphics. These animations were created with the support of Active Philanthropy and the Good Energies Foundation.

Climate Communication also receives contributions from individuals, for which we are extremely grateful. Click the link below if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to Climate Communication — please check the box “Write us a comment” and note that your donation should be directed to Climate Communication:
