A very crude forgery of the 2007 pound coin The coarse lettering and features of the Queen are a giveaway, as is the word COPY behind the Queen's neck.

Edges of Forged One Pound coins The edges are usually the real giveaway, and are strikingly odd when compared with a lot of other pound coins.
