Cape Tribulation & Daintree Tours

The dense rainforest finally gives way to an unexpected sandy beach and an uninterrupted view of the sea. The majestic headland at this confluence of land and sea is Cape Tribulation. Cape Tribulation is situated in the Daintree Rainforest and is part of the Daintree National Park. It lies within the area demarcated by UNESCO as the Queensland Wet Tropics World Heritage area.

Such a beautiful location has not gone unnoticed by the public, and Cape Tribulation and its vicinity have become popular with travellers from all walks of life, with backpackers’ hostels operating alongside luxury resorts and cosy bed-and-breakfast joints.

The Daintree River traverses the area around Cape Tribulation and presents the perfect opportunity for a river cruise on the Daintree River Ferry. The Daintree River is home to an incredibly diverse ecosystem, so come prepared to spot dazzling varieties of flora and fauna, including fearsome saltwater crocodiles, if you’re lucky!

It is fairly difficult to get to Cape Tribulation and a four wheel drive is usually required, as well as some good navigational skills. Taking a tour is usually the best and safest way to explore Cape Tribulation and its surrounds.
