Gerrior, Mabel Catherine, 84, Glen Air Estates, Lower South River, Antigonish Co. passed away at St. Martha's Regional Hospital on April 16, 2013, with her family by her side.

 Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late James and Annie (DeCoffe) Bowles.

 Mabel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards as well as watching wrestling.

 Survived by children: Marie (Ron) MacDonald, North Grant; Kay (Brian) Boyd, Morristown; Billy (Diane), Cambridge, Ont; Laura (Colin) Chisholm, Cambridge, Ont; Francis, Lower South River; Dorothy (James) Crossman, Pomquet River. 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.

 Predeceased by her husband, Wilfred, sisters: Helen Sloan; Rita Kennedy, brothers: Vince, Billy and John Bowles; one grandchild Marsha Lynn Boyd and 3 children in infancy.

 Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish Friday 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Ninians Cathedral, Rev Evo DiPierro presiding.
