BMW
BMW has evolved from a driving enthusiast's brand to one of South Africa's most prominent (and beloved) luxury car brands. The Bavarian brand has been building vehicles in the Republic since the 1970s and has produced a handful of products that were unique to our market. BMW South Africa has also been exporting vehicles across the globe (3 Series models from the mid-1990s until 2018 and, since then, the X3). The brand build its enviable reputation on its 3 Series, 5 Series and 7 Series sedans, but is now best known for its X model crossover and SUV ranges (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7), as well as the 1 Series premium hatchback and its 2 Series Coupe and Gran Coupe variants. Apart also offering eye-catching coupe and convertible variants of its sedan models, BMW headlines most of its ranges with M models, which are some of the most desirable performance cars in the market. Renowned for its excellent after-sales service, BMW has an extensive dealer network (from which i models and Mini products are also retailed). All-new BMW products come with a 5-year/100 000 km maintenance plan.
