TRUE WORLD RECORDS,
ON ONE BIG LIST
Here's the essential place to start this page - with the list.  It includes topmost scores  and info for all the common (and, not so common) arcade video games that you've seen, heard of, or played, whether in person, or on MAME.

GUINNESS BOOK LISTS
FROM THE 80'S
Starting with the 1984 edition, the Guinness Book of World Records began publishing the results of Twin Galaxies' (and, the APA's) contests and events.  This stopped after 1987, but provided a bevy of great scores, with most of them being new world records.

1987 VIDEO GAME MASTERS TOURNEY:
THE LOST RESULTS
Since the Guinness Book stopped publishing contest scores after 1987, the results for the 1987 Masters Tournament have been 'lost'... until now !  Now, two players finally get their due, and another could start one more round of controversy on the game Star Wars.

MORE TO COME... The above three categories cover most all of the important history of gaming world records.  So, what else is left ?  Well, even before the above, there were score lists in magazines.  Plus, don't forget where it all started - with a poster produced by none other than Twin Galaxies.  All of this is yet to come, but it'll be worth the wait...
