We live in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada and feel very fortunate to be living in such a great family-oriented community. Coaching and running the boys around to minor hockey and baseball keeps us very busy year-round.
I spend all of my work time on SpinupWP, a modern cloud-based server control panel my team and I started in 2018 under my previous company, Delicious Brains Inc. I sold the plugin side of the business to WP Engine in 2022 and turned my focus to SpinupWP. For more on my company, check out my latest year in review.
Before that, I built web sites for a living. Working as an freelance web developer, collaborating with creative agencies and independent web designers. I did frontend and backend development, working with SilverStripe CMS and WordPress.
I also co-founded a web hosting company called Zenutech in 2002 while earning my Computer Science degree at the University of New Brunswick. I worked part-time on that business until we exited in 2012.
