Advice On Feeding Your Guinea Pig
All guinea pigs have different tastes and so they do not all like the same things to eat.
However, you must know what can and cannot be fed to your pet to avoid harming them and to help keep the guinea pig healthy.
It is vital to have a constant supply of hay for their digestion and is a major part of their diet in addition to guinea pig mixtures.
All hay must be dry, clean and free from dust and mould, grass hay is best.
Unlike most animals Guinea Pigs do not produce their own Vitamin C, so it is essential that guinea pigs have a daily intake of vitamin C.
They should have a daily selection of fresh fruit, vegetables or plants.
