Format your Hard disk or USB devices by COMMAND PROMPT.

If you want to format your hard disk or removable drives such as Pen drive or memory cards using command prompt then first of all......


GoTo RUN, For this just press window+R key like in the picture :-

 After this in the box type CMD. A window will open like this...

Now if your drive is K just type here K: and press ENTER
 after this just type format k: and press ENTER, format starts automatically....But if the drive is used by any other applications then it will ask for format forcefully jusr type Y and press ENTER..

After the format will complete computer will ask for the volume label(name) of drive you have just formatted give it a suitable name and press ENTER as shown in the following figure....

Now you have done your work enjoy...
