Angiogenesis, the new building of blood vessel from existing ones (Folkman, 1985).

There are numerous interesting angiogenic growth factors discovered. Below, some of those I have studied a bit closer are listed.

1. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF-A,B,C, and D)

2. Fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF-2)

3. Epidermal growth factor (EGF)
