The RJ 140 storey started in 1972 when a couple of sailingfanatics wanted a boat that could beat the Finnish Swans in the Swedish offshore rase "Gotland runt" and still 25 years after this they do!!!.
Most of them were built in Tollare Bruk in Saltsjö-Boo near Stockholm Sweden and at least 17 of this at the time large sailor left the yard .The deckdesign and the intereor differs between the samples as they were built to the different owners like a one offtype. Some with the modern cut top like treviljor and some with the classic with doghouse and so on . And rigging was set up to the owners choise so she can be a slupe or a ketch/yawl or evan a scooner
Interior: Varies . Treviljor the navigationstable direct on the port side of the stairs . on the starboard a large sea wardrobe and the kitchen. Aft are two romey and well equipped cabins for a large sailor or a small couple 4 feet cm wide .the wc and showeris direct on nthe port side in front of the navigation table One of the most sailingfriendly setups you can think of .In front of the kithen the roomey sallon and in the foor peek a large owners cabin - see the inside
