General class age groupings

For children to enter into kindergarten  class, they must be 5 years old before 1st October. 

For entrance into 1st class, students must be 6 years old before 1st October.

5½ - 6½ ............................Kindergarten Class

6½ - 7½ .......................................1st Class

7½ - 8½ ......................................2nd Class

8½ - 9½ .......................................3rd Class

9½ - 10½ ......................................4th Class

10½ - 11½ ....................................5th Class

11½ - 12½ ....................................6th Class

12½ - 13½ ....................................7th Class

13½ - 14½ ....................................8th Class

14½ - 15½ ....................................9th Class
