The AIGS library has a very comprehensive collection of family history resources, including books and magazines, CDs, maps, microfiche and film, which are available to both members and day visitors researching their family history. These resources mainly cover Victoria, Australia, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
There is also a small lending collection of useful family history books to help with your background information.
The following Internet Subscription Services are available for members to use in the library for free: Ancestry.com, Findmypast, TheGenealogist, British Newspaper Archive, Emerald Ancestors, RootsIreland, Durham Records Online and Biographical Database of Australia (BDA).
CD, film and fiche images can be printed or saved to a USB. There is a small fee for printing and photocopying, saving to a USB is free.
